does anyone use a mightymule gate opener?
i have a mightymule gate opener, and today we added the automatic gate lock option. everything is lined up and level… but when the gate closes the catch does not ‘catch’ the clevis pin and close as it should. we have moved, removed, readjusted multiple times today with no change. we have called tech support but their suggestions did not resolve issue. when we manually close gate and test opening, all works as it should and catch releases and opens beautifully. but again, when we close the gate it just bounces right off the clevis pin. i can’t find anything on the web about this! someone must own one as i do!! by the way, i can not get the gtoinc.com web site to load tonight either. of course.
everything is level. we tried again, but it just isn’t locking on its own. i think after having so many people work on it, the lock might just actually be BROKEN! it is supposed to be a simple installation, it hasn’t been…!
there is an adjust ment/alignment problems somewhere most likely. perhaps you should contact a contractor to check it out.
